Malik Riaz Hussain of Bahria Town Strikes Again

Luxury Islamabad StyleIf the saga of Islamabad’s Centaurus ‘development’ didn’t make you throw up, here is something that might…

Arguably one of the richest men in Pakistan and a front man for the uniformed mafia, Malik Riaz Hussain, and his Bahria Town Co. are bringing a golf resort to its capital.

Isn’t this just what the city needs?  Given that tourists will be flooding in with their golf clubs we need to build them about 400 luxury rooms and rake in the dollars.

This is the capital of a country that has its minions rushing around with begging bowls, its ‘friends’ turning their back to it, IMF imposing back-breaking conditions, a compromised judiciary, a lawyers movement gone sour, its top two political parties filled with opportunists, the other parties full of fantasists concerned more about the next promised world rather than setting things right here.

A city that has power outages throughout the day, its roads mired by security blockades, manned by AK-47 armed personnel themselves worried when a crazy terrorist may blow himself in their faces.

Islamabad lacks regular water supply – it steals water from Pindi’s reservoir.   Its gutter system has failed with much of its sewage now flowing in rainwater drains.

Though better than other cities, its schools have incompetent teachers, its universities full of academics who can’t give a half-decent lecture, let alone rationally discuss issues of social revival and sustainability.

The cheapest set of golf clubs for a single player costs as much as the yearly salary of an average worker.

Why bother about these toiling millions; let’s play golf.

  2. he is a big beggar, land mafia and a robber

    • He is a business man and running one of modern setup of Pakistan which is hardly seen in any builders or company excepet in DHA for a particular class. He is giveing equal stadnard of living to all classes who are living in 5 lakh or 5 crore.that shows his business developing skills.
No DOUBT his name comes in scandals but it is weakness of govt and our system that is giving him way.90% business man of developed country expand their business on the conditions of maintain quality work and gaining huge profit. These are jobs of govt to pale barricade to them so that they would flourish in legal side.
His all projects are self explanatory of his quality work and nobody can deny his vast kind of social work beneficent to million of Pakistanis. So instead of developing jealousy him and his work one should encourage/praise him so that he focuse his talent and energy toward more for national development.

  4. Again, always look at yourself rather than pointing fingers on Malik Riaz. Ask yourself the question, ARE YOU REALLY HONEST? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR PAKISTAN? ALLAH ALMIGHTY IS THE JUDGE NOT YOU. HAVE YOU GIVEN ANY SADQA? THERE YOU GO…. THE ANSWERS ARE IN YOUR FACE ALREADY. This is why we Pakistani’s fail in every aspect, we point fingers at others AND ARE NOW A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY. WE ARE DEEP ROOTEDLY FILLED WITH HASAD AND JEALOUSY. WE DO NOT GET CORRUPT LEADERS FOR NO REASON, IT IS BECAUSE WE ARE CORRUPT TO BEGIN WITH. LET’S PLAY GOLF? WHAT AN IMMATURE STATEMENT… THANKGOD THAT ATLEAST THERE IS SOME INVESTMENT IN PAKISTAN. SO PLEASE PAKISTANI’S EDUCATE YOURSELVES AND APPRECIATE SOMETHING GOOD WHEN YOU SEE IT RATHER THAN CREATE SLANDER AND FITNA ON SOCIAL WEB SITES.
