Kaaba bar was just a misconception.. This building is actually Apple Store in New York.
In reality there is no Kaaba Bar. Apple built a cubical store of transparent glass to sell computers, iPod iPhones etc. During the construction it might have been covered with black cloth, because they were willing to hide it before its opening, and someone took a photo and circulated on the web with a message that Apple has designed a bar like Kaaba and let’s appeal to the government to stop its opening. No one asked why Apple would do such a provocative thing when they have commercial interests.

I am a muslim myself and i don’t see any bad intentions by constructing this bar in Kaaba shape and naming it Apple Mecca.
Kabba was indeed a pagan temple which was later taken over by Prophet Mohommad(saw).
